In Memory

I grew up with that whistled tune that opened the show. Little Ron Howard heading to the fishing hole with Sheriff Andy.

Rest in Peace Andy.

Cajun Lemonade

Cajun Lemonade (adapted from Duggan McDonnell’s recipe in Food & Wine’s Cocktails ’09)

makes one drink

1 1/2 ounces white rum or vodka (I used vodka)
1 ounce Pimm’s No. 1
1 ounce fresh lemon juice
1 ounce simple syrup
2 dashes Tabasco or other hot sauce (I used Frank’s Red Hot)
splash of 7Up (set aside for topping up the drink)
lemon wheels (for garnish)

Combine all ingredients (except for 7Up and lemon wheels) in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into an ice-filled Collins glass. Top up with 7Up, stir, and garnish with lemon wheels.

Kathy Griffin

Yummy, It’s good.

Chocolate & Cherries

This may be the reason I started this blog. It is so cheesy and tacky but delicious to me.

Cherry Pie Filling

Put that Cherry Pie Filling on top and viola.

Damn Good.

Weenies & Tots

This is not my image or my culinary creation, but I needed something for a first post.

I believe this is a white trash BBQ creation. LOL This blog will be about recipes from packaged and processed foods. A polar opposite from my others blog about fresh, natural and healthy foods. Tons of fun and yummy recipes. Healthy is not the goal here. I hope at the very least you are entertained.

I am certain this is a favorite of Napoleon Dynamite.
